Former President George Bush donated campaign funds to Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) this January, according to a report.

Bush made the legal maximum contribution of $5,800 to Cheney, the daughter of former Vice-President Dick Cheney, who has allied herself with Democrats in her pursuit of destroying the America First moment, the New York Times reported.

Cheney, who was ousted from GOP conference chair 2021 and is no longer recognized by the Wyoming GOP as a Republican, has outraised her Trump-endorsed opponent, Harriet Hageman.

Though the Times reported that fundraising numbers are not a “determining factor in outcomes,” Cheney has raised $2 million last quarter, while Hageman only collected $443,000.

It seems like every day George Bush does something else to lower his standing in the political spectrum..
I once thought this man was a pretty good President, and a decent man
That has gone down the tubes. FGB.

Most likely he feels obligated, he was probably doing her when she was twelve. It was hush money .

Well, a couple of things.....

- The Bush family and Cheney family have been friends for a long time so this isn't something that should not be expected.

- Saying Cheney wants to destroy the America First movement is a bit of a stretch. She voted 92.9% on the side that Trump supported or opposed in legislation from 2017 on. In the 2017-2018 term it was 95.8% The majority of her opposition to Trump votes have been aimed specifically at him, not at the America First agenda. She voted against Trump's position a total of 13 times in 4+ years. Six of those votes were either in relation to the election/Jan 6 or The National Defense Act. The others were basically opposing a withdrawal of troops from Syria, supporting sanctions on Russia, N. Korea and Iran that Trump opposed, and opposing various spending appropriations related to covid and hurricane relief spending.

I think it is unfair to say she supports the destruction of the principles related to the America First agenda. I think she would be very supportive of a candidate running on the America First agenda, as long as it is not Trump. I think it is very fair to say she supports the destruction of Donald Trump. She has made that perfectly clear.

That's enough for me to be against her.
Trump was a good President and she is an idiot if she cannot see that .
We don't need idiot Republicans. We already have enough of them. Let her join the Demmies she so loves.
