What's the big deal? I got one a couple weeks ago and made my first chicken last night. It was good, but not any better than a normal baked chicken.

The instructions say it accommodates 2 3-pound chickens or a 10-pound turkey - this is a lie. I did a 6-pound roaster and I had to bind it tight so it wouldn't rub on the heating element. AND it filled the skewer thing completely. No way you could get two chickens on there.

It was kind of cool to watch the bird rotate and cook, like my own little Boston Market, but that's about it. For practical purposes, it just wasn't all that and I'm sorry I bought it. :ohwell:

I don't have that but I have two grills. One large one and one tiny one. I like them both. The larger one is great for bacon! But I use them mostly in the winter or if I don't feel like fooling with the outside grill.

Is it anything like the showtime-ronco-rotisserie? (set it and forget it!)
I got one of those a year ago and love it! I guess the big thing is (for me) healthier cooking-as in not sitting in the grease.

I agree Vrai.. I was so excited the first time i went to use mine.. I had one little chicken and i think i spent more time taking the damn thing in and out tying it tighter then anything.. It was a mess.. By the time it was finished cooking, all the seasoning i had put on it had come off and all my honey had been squeezed out!! :bawl:
