George Owings has died

For some reason this hasn't hit the news sites but former Maryland Delegate and Maryland Secretary of Veterans Affairs George Owings died a couple days ago.

I think the family is still planning the funeral.

I heard today that per his request, there will be no funeral.

Why? She got his seat as a replacement when he went to the Ehrlich Administration and finished the term and had another full one. She then lost re-election all on her own.

I'm struggling to think of one thing she did for the District in her time in the House of Delegates. I have to say I have the same problem with her replacement Mark "Honey Badger" Fisher.

well, at a campaign speech, she proudly bragged about introducing and mandating hand sanitizers in porta pottys. Look at the accomplishment for the benefit of inbred in Calvert Couty that routinely urinate on their hands.

You've no doubt seen her concrete plaque at the boardwalk!!!

That was placed because Miller dragged her along in sponsoring a Bond Bill for refurbishment. She originally wanted no part of it for whatever reason.
