The video posted on YouTube shows the teenage boy putting a baby on one side of a large, inflatable pillow on the floor.

The boy then jumps on the pillow and the baby flies several feet across the room before landing on the floor and crying.

I saw the video last night. I'll admit that I'm pretty jaded, and fairly innured to a lot of things, but that was hard to take. If that'd had been my baby, there'd be a couple of dead 16 year-olds...the moron jumping on the pillow, and the idiot with the video camera.

The latter, if I recall the newscast correctly, was the idiot that the baby was left in the care of.

I apologize to anyone I offended for the "kick the baby" post. Not having seen the video (it'd been pulled from You-tube by the time I saw this thread), it sounded pretty funny; now that I've seen the baby, not so much.

apoligy accepted. Personnally, I never find a child being injured funny. It's one thing to say bounce a toddler on a trampoline (without injury) for fun. It's another to do anything to hurt or injure a child, much less an infant.

At least the "kick the baby" post you posted is a cartoon and not an actual infant. Had that been an actual baby, I'd have wanted to kick you too.

The report says that the boy is charged with two counts of cruelty to a minor, one for what he did to the baby and the other for subjecting his videotaping friend to the trama of watching it.

That is totally sick! In the news report, did you notice how close the baby was to landing on the hearth of the brick fireplace? Not that being tossed across the room and landing on carpet is any better!! What in the world were those two thinking?
