i know a few breeders make you sign paperwork saying you WILL NOT use the dog for breeding purposes and if you do the puppies WILL NOT have papers as only the mother is registered akc and not her babies if she has any as they give you limited registration when you register your dog.

I will PM you a few sites of places to look!

The one around here is a husband and wife I know... :yay:
their dogs are their family... and take very much pride in their breeding. They do not over breed...

The next one you will see is a little further away.. depending on what you are looking for. My K-9 officer buddy has one of his dogs :yahoo:.. she is amazing!!!!!! Yet again... very selective in breeding! Also very long wait list for a pup... there is a reason for this! :yay: great quality dogs!

*snicker* I know a few breeders who give you potty papers and a new collar for the puppy. My breeder gave me pictures of my puppy's mom and dad and their mom & dad.
I like going for a walk on a nice sunny day.
The humidity is not as high today. How was your weekend?

I had two german shepherds from Applejack. Sadly I lost one in January to old age. I still have one and she is a wonderful dog. I cannot say enough great things about the Ramsey's, they are the owners. Not only do they have well bred dogs, but any dog you buy from them receives basic obedience training with the price of the dog. At least that was the deal when I bought my two. And it is real obedience training not the silly stuff at PETCO. Your dog will listen the first time you tell him. It is well worth a visit to see their dogs and the training program. Good luck

Yes-this.

I have three AJK9 dogs (and a litter of puppies right now) and they are fantastic, well trained dogs. However-if you need AKC reg. AJ is no longer doing that. Still worth a look.

Go to Germany, that's where I got my GSD as a puppy. The vet says she's in perfect health for her age (8), no health issues unlike a lot of American bred GSD's they see. Yes, I'm biased because she's my GSD. :howdy:

True... or a VERY GOOD breeder that deals with GERMAN breed dogs...

and this is true .. they dont have the health issues like ones here. :yay: Thats because in Germany you just cant breed to any GSD at any time like most breeders do here! They are very selective over there. Even with breeders (real breeders) that import German lines they will still be selective.

I would love to see a pic of your pup! :buddies:

Where has Turbo been? He's not been on-line since about March. I know that he would have some good info. to add, as I think he has someone in the Carolina's that he deals with. I think he may have just gotten a GSD, if my mind serves me correctly. I went to the Animal Shelter last weekend, and there were 2 GSD's there. Appeared to be full-grown, but they need homes.

:nono: Turbo would have never been caught with a GSD!! :killingme

just dobbies!! ..... he knows a some breeders.. like I do.. but yet again.. they are well sought out breeders.. not like most around here. These breeders ... breed for a purpose... not just for puppies! They are working lines with strong working back grounds. (not wanna be working back grounds)

most of these dogs are police lines or sporting dog.... aka.. very high drive and great bloodline and good health!

just wish people really understood this concept!

..how is your pup

My baby girl Abbi. All of her paperwork is in German and registered with genealogy. I did not have her German registration converted to AKC and I had her spayed as soon as she was old enough.
When she was a puppy my mail lady saw her and asked about her. Sure enough a few days later people were knocking on my door asking if I had a real GSD and they wanted to breed her! Saying I could make a lot of money off her. I said no thanks, she's spayed and my pet, not income.

she is a great looking dog... she is what a TRUE GERMAN line GSD should look like! She has great bone, and a wonderful boxy head and square shaped muzzle... and its hard to find a female to fit that!

dont take this wrong... but you know you have a great female when you cant tell she is a female.. and her bone structure is more like a male GSD! :buddies:

Most "German" lines around here have a long and narrow head and nose... and not very rich colors.

Germans breed for rich red pigments and darker colors and sables.... they dont want anything to do with the light colors.....

OOOPS! I forgot that Turbo was in to Dobies! Sorry Turbo, if you are reading this, and thanks for correcting me! Meat Ball is doing fine. She's had a couple of seizures again, but not in the frequency she was having them before. She's still not on medicine, and her seizures only last about 20 seconds, or less. Keeping a close eye on her. Thanks for asking about her.!!
