BELLFLOWER, Calif. An injured 6-year-old German shepherd mix walked himself into a hospital emergency room after apparently being struck by a car, according to animal control officials.

Buddy the dog limped into emergency at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Bellflower Wednesday and laid down in the waiting area at about 1 p.m.

I think Buddy wanted a better home or he'd have gone back. He doesn't even look happy to see his owner, who gave up on him after two weeks. :rolleyes:
