Get-Togethers?

Hello, first post, so be gentle, okay?

I'm fairly new to the area and I have a sportbike. I'd like to find some local riding and wrenching partners. Mind you, I ride very sanely on the street, I save the speed for an occasional trackday.

Also, is there a place around here where motorcycle folks gather? Where I used to live riders would meet at a local restaurant on Sunday mornings for breakfast - Harleys, sportbikes, Beemers, you name it - all were there. It was great checking out the bikes and the restaurant had a ton of business. I was driving past Chipotle last night and saw some bikes there and it made me wonder if that might be a good place for a Saturday night burrito and bike night or something.

There are 2 chapters of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club, aka SCRC in the area. The Mattawoman Chapter has been having regular get togethers on Thursday nights. With about a monthly Saturday or sunday ride. There are also spontaneous rides posted on occasion. We don't discriminate all types of bikes all types of riders.

Rides were posted here for both last Saturday and Sunday. Did you attend?
An excellant way to meet, greet and network with area riders plus help out asome worthy causes.
