digital image capturing devices ready, because it's bald eagle nesting time! I'm seeing the eagles pretty much everyday now. There's a big nest about 1/2 mile from my place that I can spy from the road without trespassing on private property or disturbing the birds. I know that in a month or so I'll be able to check them out fishing on muddy creek and in front of my place. I missed a beautiful shot from less than 30 yds last week... camera was at home.

....although I have a feeling im going to need a teleconverter.

Hell....last thursday I had one flying parallel to my car---not 10 feet away....scared the crap out of me! I had startled it in someones front yard---feeding on roadkill.....I was taking my son to see where it nested....and I could hardly get the word out "EA, EA, EA!" my son was screaming WOW oh Wow! Camera was in the back seat!
