Getting rid of verizon

Does getting rid of Verizon dsl mean getting rid of Verizon email? I know in the old days it would, but now with their email being run by aol is it the same?

No. Verizon email no longer exists. You may have a user@verizon.net address, but it's all hosted and managed by AOL.

That is correct. I got rid of Verizon DSL and still have my VZ email account. (hosted by AOL)
