What a ####ing idiot. Last night he trots out and gets exposed for the empty shirt he really is and today after a midnight class on spin boy wonder is out trying to be cute.

You know what was exceptionally pathetic about your man last night? The most telling facial expression he exhibited last night was the one that showed not even he believed his own bull#### anymore. Stumble much? Jackass. I really really really want a playground jackass in the oval office 4 more years because when in an intense negotiation with some Arab and he gets called an infidel he can throw out the "I know you are but what am I" dig.

Why do people keep saying this? That was the best Obama I have seen. Little to none of the usual flowery crap rhetoric. Very conversational. Sincere. Yeah, he looked like he didn't wanna be there and a bit tired but, all in all, I though the guy was good, very open and very transparent with a minimum, and very unusual for him, lack of smokescreen speak.

Last night was, to me, the perfect example of letting a progressive make his case being the BEST way to go. So, while I am not saying it served Obama's interests, to me, he was open and honest and conversational and THAT very much served the nations interests.

Not so! Lost in all of this is the PBS boss, her name escapes me, has been saying that much of their programming, including Sesame Street, basically stand on their own as is.

It's a non issue. :buddies:

Don't take me so seriously - I know better than that... I was :elaine:

BTW, the article was up this morning about that...

So will it kill Big Bird? He might need smaller digs but chances are, cuts to PBS won’t kill off Sesame Street and other major programming. What will happen, realistically, is that public television stations would have to find alternate sources of funding. Larger markets, like the one I live in now, would likely survive. But chances are that those smaller markets, like the one I used to live in, would have to shut off the lights. That is, of course, the irony, since those smaller markets are the very ones that PBS was intended to serve when it was created.

...that have no been replaced by 300 cable and satellite channels.

Good stuff.

I'm trying to find, seriously, an issue Romney lost on last night. :buddies:

The more I think about this, the more I think he got caught listening to Mitt's argument and, at least in his mind, conceding that their may better ways to do X or Y...

The guys not stupid but, like all of us, he has his own dogma and bias on how things should work and we know, as potus, he is very much about dictating because HE WON. The atmosphere last night was intellectually stimulating for once. They were actually debating. Neither guy was sitting around waiting to deliver his BIG ZINGER. I think Obama got caught in the moment and reflecting on what Mitt was saying.

Best debate I've ever seen. Both of them.
