Yes, really. :lol: The group's name is "Bela Fleck and The Flecktones." http://www.flecktones.com

I've seen them a couple of times and they absolutely blew me away. They're quite an eclectic group (including Futureman) but it works. Check him out at the web site. They actually played over in Solomons several years ago at the old Kingfisher's but I missed it. :ohwell:

They are quite awesome. Bela also branches out into other areas: classical, country, acoustic, you-name-it. He's quite the musician and can pick up and master ANY style.

He was touring with Stanley Clarke (jazz bassist) and Jean-Luc Ponty (jazz violin) this year and stopped at Wolf Trap for one performance. I've seen each of the three separately or with others, but I can only imagine the magic when all three played together. I so wish I had gotten tickets. :ohwell:
