No ghosts or goblins, but they're certainly little monsters.

I kinda miss the days when my kids still went trick or treating.

I miss creating costumes; not buying them.
I remember two successive years; the parental units and I looked for cardboard boxes. One year I was a robot; the following year I was a camera; with a working camera flash. Instead of saying 'trick or treat', I'd say "Smile!". Then I'd flash 'em.....with the camera flash.

Totally agree, I love looking back at the pictures of the costumes my mom made every year when I was little. Even after I got too "old" we still generally cobbled my costumes together out of things we had around or could make.

Maaaaaybe this year (as in the next 12 months) I'll dig out that sewing machine I received as a housewarming gift and figure out how to use it. Make the kiddos awesome costumes for next year! But in other news, here's my kiddo (refusing to hold still) in his purchased costume.

He didn't quite get the whole "Trick or Treat" thing but had a great time running around, checking out all of the decorations and trying to explore inside houses.

When mine were little, they were each Winnie the Pooh.

This thread is making me dig up old pics. Here they are in 2007 and 2010.

I used to coordinate their outfits. One year, one was a cop and the other was the inmate.

That's hilarious. They're adorable! This year my matched. They were all red and white. It was by accident. Waldo was not happy about it. I didn't even notice until he pointed it out. Oops.

I love Halloween pics. Just like pics of weddings and babies, it does not matter if I know the person or not I just love looking at them.
