I will have just landed in Seattle. Hope the hotel gets me in early. If not I'll head to the Southcenter Mall and see if I can get it on a TV.... :)

One of the most significant technical events of our time, and YouTube STILL has to stick their crapping commercials right into the stream. You'd hope they'd suspend commercials on these channels for the duration.

We cut away from the launch during the five.

Did the booster land in it’s cradle again without issue?

No, called it off and it landed on water, blew up.

Spaceship just landed on the water, great landing, fell over and broke up. Great re-entry.

That sucks. I was hoping they be able to reuse another one.

None of these next few are candidates for reuse. The rapidity of the design iteration means that each one is essentially a unique new rocket. I think there are three full boosters ready to go or close to it. Back in June the next one, booster 14 was complete. Ships 33 is complete and has completed cryo testing for Flight Seven on Booster 14. I think we'll see them fly in December. 34 and 35 (32 was scrapped since they needed to jump to the new flap design) Ship 34 is in stacking now, and Ship 35 is just a nosecone.

Of course, these are units being built the old way. Still far faster than Old Space could dream of, but as the Star factory comes online this year, they will be cranking them out like cars.
