School begins again, and we read more about the intrusion of pseudoscience into school science curricula in this country, particularly into the study of biology and evolution. The motive, despite the claims of proponents of intelligent design and other bogus "disciplines," has been religious. Although some of the creation scientists' arguments presented have a probabilistic flavor, the mathematics curriculum has seemed somewhat resistant to this trend. Recently a number of readers have sent me course descriptions from various schools that suggest otherwise, however.

Whether a person believes in Creationism or Evolution both schools of thought are based upon
Faith.
The Creationist has
faith that the order of the universe and spiritual needs of mankind have been fashioned by a Divine Force that defies explanation but makes itself very clear in various ways - even to the point of reaching down to us.
The Evolutionist has
faith that life exploded on the scene of time and space dimensions, developed into myriads of spinning masses which started independent orbits of planetary bodies and over a span of Billions and Billions of years (no one can agree how many Billion) a single cell came on the scene.
Further faith of the Evolutionist is that the single cell mutated at various stages along the way which then opened up a path to thousands of differing lifeforms that continued to each develop (evolve) into higher life forms than the previous one.
Further faith of the Evolutionist is that from among one of the "evolved" life-forms early man evolved from the animal kingdom and has developed to today's "civilized" societies.
Perhaps plants had their own single cell that evolved the same way - or maybe all seeds of every species of plant life suddenly appeared in the initial blast. Another thought is that perhaps mankind developed from the single cell that also produced the botanical tree of all plant species. (pun intended)
Further faith of the Evolutionist is that during the evolving period, both genders, male and female, simultaneously developed together on an equal par and at the same time in order to have the same compatible biology that made continued reproduction possible.
Further faith of the Evolutionist is that mankind is still evolving and in another Billion years.... well you get the point.
So, Here Are The Odds:
It Takes Greater Faith to Believe in Evolution than to Believe in a Supreme And Divine Creator Being, aka GOD.
Conclusion:
Creationists have found the answers to life by looking towards heaven while Evolutionists are still looking for the answers to life by digging holes in the ground.
