On Saturday, February 11, 2012, Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY) will offer above-grade-level testing to interested students from St. Mary's County elementary schools as part of its Global Talent Search. Talent Search test scores will be used to reveal or confirm exceptional academic abilities, determine true academic peers, and qualify students for CTY's Summer and CTY Online Programs.
The test will be held at Evergreen Elementary School (43765 Evergreen Way, California, Maryland 20619) from 8:30 - 10:15 a.m. Interested families should reserve a space with Quiana Washington, by calling 410-735-4153 or by e-mail at markriding(at)jhu.edu. Reservations should be made no later than Friday, February 3. This test is open to students in grades two through eight. An additional test date may be offered if there is demand.

CTY supports these students with challenging coursework and other resources specifically designed to develop intellect, encourage achievement, and nurture social development.
