I say kudos to the girl!!! She was quick thinking and it saved her life!! That's one hell of a smart girl!!
ha, i'm all supportive of this girl and glad she dealt with this how she did, but does it REALLY take all that much "quick thinking" to use a pencil to stab someone? I mean, I for one have thought about what i'd do if in a situation like that. You just have to know what sort of things you have with you: keys, pencil, hell..one time a friend and i were in a situation and he had thought to hit the guy with the cap part of his bottle since it would hurt the most and was a non-suspected weapon (granted, luckily he didn't have to, but it just about knowing what items you have with you at the time to even the odds if someone is bigger than you/theres more of them than you, ect.)
Kudos to the girl, guess her parents taught her well to remain calm in tense situations.
