I mean, it DOES seem pretty rediculous...but how different is it than just adopting from another country? You are still paying to have a child of your own to love and care for, while someone on the other end of the deal benefits in some way (whether it be the relevation of caring for a child when they are not able, or a monetary gain...everyone gets what they want) :shrug:
