Windshields are not usually that big a deal - it's a comprehensive claim so it shouldn't affect your premium :fixed:. Call them.

What?!
A few years back I had the windshield in my jeep replace. It's was like $100 deductible thru my insurance. Freakin Royal glass charged my insurance like 1500 bucks!!!! :faint: Never knew anything about until I went to renew my insurance! That claim increased my premium. Don't remember what insurance company I was with at the time.

didn't your insurance company pull the bs card on them and tell them to try again? I just had a chip fixed by royal glass and got a new windshield quoted just in case the chip fix didn't work while I was there.....it was in the mid 200s....heard two others get a quote while I was there and all basically around the same cost. Thats crazy and I'd be po'd at my insurance company for letting that go through....screwing you in the long run.

My insurance never questioned it, that I was aware of. I switched insurance companies after that BS. I think it was Progressive.
