We got the same message. I'll test it tomorrow and see.

I believe the change has already taken place. (12:01 am on December 24th). You may want to do a speed test now. I may be mistaken but I don't think so.

Faster Speed and the same price.......... Sweet

I feel the need for speed!

This is the result on my wireless laptop

Communications 1.3 megabits per second
Storage 159.8 kilobytes per second
1MB file download 6.4 seconds
Subjective rating Good

The cable did go down last night and it was down until early this morning, so when I got the message, I was glad it was an upgrade thing and not another outage for no explained reason.

Yea, you go right ahead and pay extra for a indecernable speed difference, :yay: it's ok by me. I am sure the 1.3 extra seconds mine takes to load a page would be intollerable.

Im getting 1-1.15

Of course, mine was always a little slower than most before. This is double what I was getting. Its funny, I got the 997-1,000 on an east coast server and I am getting 1,150-1,200 on west coast servers. Its probably something to do with the test types, etc...
