I believe the change has already taken place. (12:01 am on December 24th). You may want to do a speed test now. I may be mistaken but I don't think so.

The cable did go down last night and it was down until early this morning, so when I got the message, I was glad it was an upgrade thing and not another outage for no explained reason.

Yea, you go right ahead and pay extra for a indecernable speed difference, it's ok by me. I am sure the 1.3 extra seconds mine takes to load a page would be intollerable.

Im getting 1-1.15

Of course, mine was always a little slower than most before. This is double what I was getting. Its funny, I got the 997-1,000 on an east coast server and I am getting 1,150-1,200 on west coast servers. Its probably something to do with the test types, etc...
