What a great flick! Not as good as the book - too much cut out but if they filmed it all it would be a miniseries. Wow have those kids grown up! Great graphics on the dragon scene.
Some scenes made my 8 year old flinch but I didn't see/hear a single kid in the audience get scared. I give it a definite :yay:

Thanks for the review. What age rating would you give it?

Not sure why it got the PG-13 - perhaps the dragon and mermaid competitions were a bit graphic. My 8 year old wasn't "really" scared at any of it.
Only bad word - Ron got mad at Harry and told him to "P#ss off" just once. No nudity - Harry does take off his shirt which made the teen girls scream (he obviously now rates on the "hot" chart).
So I guess maybe 8 and up. Depends how much exposure the child has had via action movies and video games. My 10 and 13 year olds never flinched once.

My daughter wanted to go so bad last night:lol: She was trying to get me to take her to the 10:20 showing:twitch:

I believe I may take her Tuesday night since there isn't any school on Wednesday:yay:

Fiancee took her 5 year old daugher last night... because she really like the other 3 movies and she had a crush on Harry...

she fell asleep before the dragon trial.
I was sort of glad to hear that. I think it was too scary for a 5 year old.

Great flick though! :yay: :yay:

yeah yeah
I only have a couple complaints on the filmography- and some things on not explaining as much as the book did- but- other than that- this director/producer was MUCH better than the prisoner of askaban was. Kudos to him.

Thank you, come again.
I saw it last night, it was great, I agree better than azkaban. Just like every movie the book is always better.
