Driving by McKay's on the Hollywood/Leonardtown Rd., I noticed a sign in the window, that advertised - NY Strip Steak - Black Angus - $5.99lb.

So, I checked it out, and they were AWESOME looking! Got 6 of them!

Enjoying one right now, with a glass of Merlot, corn on the cob.

It does not get much better than this!

If for some strange reason you ever find yourself in Bridgeport/Clarksburg West Virginia goto the Wonderbar. Best steak I have ever had, perfectly aged, and no seasoning needed.

Just don't mind the red shag carpeting on the walls and floor.

Let me be honest - we're not talking about filet mignon, or even a ribeye here. However, these are some of the best NY strips I've seen in quite a while. Main thing was, you just can't beat $5.99lb for these juicy morsels!

I got a lil brave the other day,
Got a jar of jalapenos and blended them up.
put the whole slop in a ziplock bag and threw in a couple steaks, ended up leavin them to soak for a day.
Grilled em with some taters and broccoli

I got a really good NY Strip from that new Texas Steakhouse in LaPlata. We did that curbside takeout and it was excellent.
