I am here in pp and i hear it here. I think they might be working over at the landings over here as there is 1 barge out back with it looks to be huge rocks on it.

I have heard it the past few days. its like boom boom ( brief 3 sec pause ) boom . And I am in Sandgates area . Cant be missle testing or anything because its way to close and they dont sound like that . hummm

I hear it in Dameron. Almost sounds like it's coming from St. Inigoes. Testing, maybe?

It's probably the guns at Dahlgren. Also called "weather guns" by the locals.

Sounds to close to be Dahlgren, but, sound does travel faster over water. Could be ..

I'm in Calvert... I've been hearing the guns at Dalgren quite a bit recently - it's faint, but that's typical for around here (it's 30 miles distant).

However, today (as well as a couple days ago) the whole house shook on 2 occasions from what I'm guessing was a sonic boom.
