Why can't you return her to the breeder?

We were just trying to find her a good home. Shes a great dog. I really havent even thought about taking her back. But I might if I have to. I just thought there might be someone local who was looking for a new friend.

I was thinking same thing if they got her at 8 weeks and they are 10 weeks now... I don't know that two weeks is enough adjustment time :shrug:

Aren't pups supposed to be 10 wks before they leave the mama?

Why did you get her? If you have a newborn and your 5 year old dosen't like it, do you return it? No, they will adjust in time, don't think you have allowed enough time for them to adjust. JMO

That's what the classified section is for....

IF you had bought this dog from a REPUTABLE breeder than your contract would REQUIRE it be returned to them. So, you either drove 4 hours and bought from a puppy mill or a BYB, OR you are ignoring a legal document you signed.

Regardless, anyone that would give up after only have the puppy for two weeks really should find it a new home.

There's a very good local Golden Retriever Rescue that you can contact to make sure this puppy finds a qualified forever home.
