There's a few police officers and an ambulance leaving a residence down the street, anyone happen to hear what happened?

And I know the Ranch Hood is ghetto so no need to tell me haha.

I heard a call earlier on that road for a suicidal teen barricaded in their room threatening to slit their wrists.

Am only half listening to scanner but there was a call a little while ago for a diabetic emergency and currently an unconscious subject on Rawhide.
You do know you can listen to the scanner through this site, don't you?

Yes I do and I have an app on my phone. Only reason I asked about the police and ambulance earlier is because I was getting home from work, and its not a normal house to see them at. I'm used to the ambulance passing the house, I was just making the comment. They pass my house 2-3 times a week.

Gotcha. The scanner runs 24/7 at my house but most times I am only half listening or better yet: trying to comprehend what they are saying.

Rose and DoWhat, you seem to understand. Maybe life is too good anymore for the yungins, and they can't cope. I wish I could have raised my children in Missouri with my grandparents on their farm, or on the Shawnee reservation with my ancestors, like 100 years ago!

The kids at the National Night Out were so well behaved.... and yet they were having a lot of fun.... big smiles on their faces....

We have a lot of great kids [and parents] in CRE.... I just love it here!

I think you have to keep telling yourself that because you know you'll never sell your house. My son has been trying for a very long time. His house is gorgeous, on a nice lot and yet, the stigma of the Ranch Club keeps him from selling the place. Such a shame. I tried so hard to talk him out of getting a house there, but at the time the stigma didn't seem to bother him, he sure is regretting it now.

Houses aren't selling anywhere right now.... it's a real shame....

Those people over on the cliffs are in a real pickle.... I hope they get a buy out....

My daughter grew up here.... she takes care of the elderly and sick.... She's a really sweet spirit....

I know a lot of the young adults that grew up here.... they are all of good character.... our schools did an excellent job with character building as well as the 3 r's....

I could sell my house.... I have some equity in it.... but what then? The mortgage is less than rent somewhere else.... When the economy shifts your son will be able to sell his too.... if he's got a great house on a good lot.... he'll have no problems..... but the economy sucks right now.... When there's a sucky ecomony... it's good to have a place near a beach and a grocery store with great schools.... People in DC or Baltimore or any other city would love to live here....

If Obama gets 4 more, the economy will be so trashed (not that it isn't already) there won't be hope for anyone.
