Great Mils area, right past the small contractor area near deb's flowers/golf course?? Wondering what the area is like? Safe? What school district is that? Lexington Park Elementary? Just trying to get feedback.

I don't know about the school district, but you'd be right handy to the shooting range.

Rumor has it, they are opening a new school back there near Sanners..... Which means Im sure there ranges will have to close being that close to the school

Just up Great Mills Road behind McKay's is Carver Elementary school. It's an existing school that was relocated and opened in a new building this year. I believe that's the elementary school for the area along with Esperanza for middle school (I think) and Great Mills for high school. You can check at: http://www.smcps.k12.md.us/

Across from the area you mentioned is the Pax River Office Park. The apartments behind there leave something to be desired in the way of neighbors.

Not true. The new school is well over 500yds away from the skeet range and over 1000yds away from the rifle and pistol ranges which point in the opposite direction.
