I like the DoF and color arrangement on the flowers. The D.C. night shot feels like it's missing something in the foreground (bottom half of the photograph).

I really like the composition and restriction of color of the monument shot. Did you edit it into B&W or was it a naturally grey day?

The monument shot has had just basic PP done, no conversion to B&W. It wasnt really a very grey day (or evening rather) but I guess the slight under exposure helped turn a somewhat dull sunset into a grey sky.
