Bookmarks Link Checker Minus

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8474

It checks your bookmarks to see if they are still valid. It is experimental, so you have to log in to download it, but registering, if you aren't, is easy.

It marks bookmarks as:

  • OK
  • NEW_AVAILABLE
  • NOT_FOUND - this can be due to the site requiring a log in, so manually check these. Of course real broken links will have this mark.
  • NOT_MODIFIED
  • UNKNOWN - This is usually a site requiring a log in or the host name or path has some weirdness but could be a broken link, so manually check these, too.

Protect your computer against online threats by using WOT as your front-line layer of protection when browsing or searching in unfamiliar territory. WOT's color-coded icons show you ratings for 21 million websites - green to go, yellow for caution and red to stop – helping you avoid the dangerous sites.

DownloadHelper is a good one. Allows you to download videos from YouTube and other similar sites.

anyone ever use the music add on? Where it downloads a mini player to the bottom of your screen so you can listen to it while you are online? I couldn't get mine to work.
