They're not zero emission but I see these making a comeback if they push out gasoline engines.

Everyone knew this was going to happen here as soon as California did it because Maryland, several years ago, adopted legislation that mandated following that state's CARB regulations.

I can't wait to see all the apartments in Montgomery County get a charger for each unit.

Damned glad to meet you
I'm having a hard time imagining Maryland having any population at all by 2035. Caucasians will be banned in MD before then and all the POC will follow us wherever we go.

Totally ignorant *******s.. we believe in choice, unless you believe something other than what we believe, then we will force you to our beliefs.

Imagine once they force us all to Electric only, what they will do with electric rates... The cost of a kWh will skyrocket, and what are you going to do?? You can't buy a cheaper alternative.. and you can bet they will be taxing the hell out of every kWh..

Solar was an option, but I'm sure MD will follow in CA footsteps there as well.. Forcing SOLAR owners to pay for their electric as well.

Just sneakin' around....
I predict a resurgence in machine shops
I hope so, regardless. So frustrating to have something minor that needs machining but holds up a whole project.

Tough to find anyone with the tools and skills to resurface something simple, like a disk rotor. Pretty much have to buy new.

Or dropping a set of heads off and getting them back next day instead of seeing them shipped out for X weeks!

Glad to see it will still allow PHEV. I really like the instant max torque from EV and the ability to switch to gas if needed. I hope popularity increases for things like the RAV4 Prime that has a 40-ish mile range on pure electric and then switching to hybrid with gas after that. I can do the vast majority of my driving with the fun of electric and rely on gas for longer trips.
