Hello Everyone :) My Dad has done soooo much for me and I wanted to take him and my Mom out somewhere nice to eat. My Dad really wants to go somewhere where they have all you can eat King Crab Legs, any suggestions? I dont even know if they are in season so any suggestions for really good seafood restaurants would be greatly appreciated :) Preferably in St Marys or Calvert County (they live in Leonardtown and I live in Prince Frederick). Thanks!!! :buddies:

No sure if they have king crab legs but Jerry's Place in Prince Frederick is the best seafood you'll find in the area. :yay:

Cant help with Prince Frederick, but you can get all you can eat crab legs, shrimp, and maryland crabs at Capt Pats, (Hollywood, and Lexington Park), for 35.00

Just a note of caution. When a restaurant advertises all you can eat crab legs it usually means snow crab legs and clusters. Snow crab is relatively inexpensive compared to King Crab legs. And there is really no season since they are frozen almost immediately after being off loaded.

Any where around here that you can get King Crab Legs, they are going to be really expensive. They come from Alaska, and even buying them in the grocery store (when you can find them here) is expensive. I am in southern St. Mary's and don't know anywhere around to get them. For seafood, we normally go to Schieble's down in Ridge, they have the best Crab Cakes around.

Good luck finding what you are looking for and please, if you don't mind and you do find somewhere around here to take your Dad, post that info on here.:patriot:

As a single father who raised his daughter alone, my greatest treat for what I did for her would be a big hug and a loud thank you. That would last far longer in my memory than a crab leg!

uhhhhmmmmm... i could be taking what you said the wrong way, but my Dad and i are very close, he is my best friend and i always thank him and give him hugs. we treat eachother to lunch and dinner all the time but i really just want to take him and my mom out somewhere nice to really show my appreciation. sorry if i sound a little hostile if u didnt mean it like id rather buy him dinner than hug him, like i dont actually appreciate him. Or are you allergic to seafood and just jealous?!?!?!?!

nothing wrong with wanting to take your parents out. most of us got the vibe that you were very appreciative, so i don't know why he was discouraging you from taking them out.

like someone said, king crab is from alaska. why not go with the local blue crab (i think?) and crabcakes? probably a little cheaper, plus it's more local cuisine. I've heard good things about the crab at Stoney's on Solomons Island...can anyone back that up?
