Would THIS face lie?
Just picked our little 8 month old boy from the vets last night...He was happy to see us but you would think nothing was done...He was running around happy as he could be...He jumped right in the back of our Yukon like he didn't even hurt....I walked him this morning and he pulled me all around like he still had dodads...I heard him tell his companion that "she better be good, look what they did to me"...

I will be thinking about Uni and Sasha today...good luck..Let us know when she is safe and back home.. :huggy:

I dropped her off last night around 6. She took her fav toy and her thick fuzzy Raiders blanket. Walked her to the crate, layed out her blanket and put her toy in. She hopped right in. I did run the crap out of her yesterday hoping she would just sleep last night away. I took her to Dorsey and walked the trail. Then took her over for a walk on the Island. After the walk we attempted to play in the water. She was so tired, she layed in the surf. It was funny. Again I was so mad I didn't have my camera. On the way home she couldn't keep her eyes open doing the head bobs.
I can't pick her up till after 5 this evening.

Thanks everyone :huggy:

Sasha is home high as a kite. Sound asleep. Drank lots of water when she got home. Threw up once after the first half bowl of water. Not hungry at all.
Took her out. Peeed, then tried to poop. THAT didn't happen  awwwwwwwww.. I know not funny.
Anyway she's chillin'.
Picking up this new pup tomorrow and a little worried, cause Sash needs to rest for a week. I'll be up early and buy a crate for the new addition to let Sash heal. I'm not a crate person.
Then let all hell break loose in the boxer world. It's their world, we live in it

Oh, come on. They'll be fine. Uni, I am a huge believer in crates! I would never raise another pup without one. My dog has graduated, and never needs it now...but it's not cruel at all.

As long as you give Sasha plenty of quiet time for the next few days until she starts feeling better, they'll both be fine. :flowers:

Cowgirl he just brought a VERY hyper girl home from being spayed last night and to intoduce him to a new house buddy (she is an aggressive only dog) there could be playing or fighting I would wait till she heals a little thats all..I dont think he has a crate for her..she runs amuck all over the house... :lmao:

Yes she does have free reign. I'm not worried about any fighting, I am worried about the rough housing and playing. Sasha still thinks shes 6 months old.

No I don't have a crate yet.

Just got up

How do you know when they graduate? Mine really likes his crate but I don't want to keep him in it forever....The sooner I can get that big thing out of the house the better...I also don't want to wake up in the morning with the arms chewed off the couch.. :lmao:

It really depends on the dog. Mine needed his for about 2 years...he had a long puppyhood. Start with small trips when you leave the house....you know, like run an errand and see if he does anything wrong when you leave the house. If you're only gone for a short time, he shouldn't have time to do any major damage. Well, we are talking about a lab....:lmao:

You can also block him into a "safe" room using a baby gate. That way you can take his crate out, but still be sure he's not going to destroy anything while you're gone. Some dogs may never "graduate" the crate. Most do though. Yours is young right? 8 months? Labs are puppies for a loooong time usually, so be patient. :huggy:

Sasha is doing awesome. She's now acting like a boxer. Again!
I am SO trying to keep her from jumping on me when I come home from work, taking her out and doing full on 60 miles an hour sprints in the backyard. WTF?

I do about 2 1/2 miles an hour. Man boobs a bouncing. :canyousayheartattackwaitingtohappen: :faint:

Proceed :yay:

Did you get the male boxer??

NO! :buttkick:

Long story short. Last Friday (2 weeks ago) asked if I met him, would I be taking him. I said no, wanted to meet him first, but had all intentions of taking him and wondering why she would ask that. So we set it up a meeting for that Saturday. I'm waiting patiently Friday night into Saturday. I called her at 11am Saturday. She said, she had got called out with work to go to NY till Wed. So this past Tuesday I emailed her and asked about the Pup. She said she gave him away to her brother who lives in Calvert County. :bawl:

I hope he's in good hands :huggy:
