Saw the Metcom guy running around putting cones next to the drainage ditches and posting signs. Not an uncommon occurrence... ;-( That's real close to Shore Fine's oyster farming operation, so I'm sure that's who the article is referring to.

Saw a largish boat dredging in the middle of the creek off of HLSS the same day.

Depending on the reason for the overflow (and I'm wondering if the massive amounts of rain we've had contributed to it) there will likely be pretty hefty fines attached (which yes, the ratepayers will end up paying).

We had a dumbass up here drop a basketball down a manhole a few years ago which caused a 20 gallon spill. That fine was $8000 plus an action plan to limit a similar incident in the future.
