Gee. Think they'll focus on the sad fact that black kids attack black kids that "act white"? "Acting White" meaning in its entirety, doing well in school, learning and speaking proper English, stopping gratuitous unprovoked violent animal behavior, ....I could go on.

We've been doing that for decades in Baltimore, while spending more per pupil than anywhere else in the sate and in most of the country.

You, NAACP, you made these things not just possible, but inevitable. You made sure that schools would be punished if they didn't graduate certain percentages. You made sure that schools were afraid to punish students of color for misbehaving of they would be placed under consent decrees for being racist.

When schools cannot punish/remove those who make learning impossible, yet must graduate all students, you place them in an impossible catch-22.

The blame falls squarely at the feet of the teacher's union. Time to bust them up. Make more charter schools. Give parents vouchers and a choice. Once decent schools are now in the shitter. Acting as a baby sitting service instead of teaching students.

This was created to devalue such behavior, but it, along with the Pledge of Allegiance and the Ten Commandments, ought to be posted in every school. The US would be a much better place, if only we quit excusing bad behavior and got back to rewarding good behavior. Just because you don't like the rules, doesn't mean they aren't good guidelines, it just means you are too lazy or stupid to follow them and succeed.
