Good Shepard in Waldorf

Hi I am on my sisters computer and just wanted to ask some peoples opinion.

I am thinking about enrolling my daughter into Good Shepard United Methodist for their preschool program/daycare. It is located in Waldorf, right outside of Carrington.

I wanted to know if anyone has any reviews on the school (good or bad)

Shepard?? What's that? Unless it's named after the astronaut I don't know if I'd send my kid to a school that doesn't know how to spell shepherd..

I went there when I was 4.

It is a very good school. Two years ago, my boss had his kids there and he was very pleased with their program.

As I remeber it was a good Pre-k. Good teachers & everyone was nice.

My son went there for the 3 and 4 year old program, but that was 8 years ago. It was a great school then, and we really liked it.

Both my kids went there, but that was 25 and 22 years ago, they had a great program then.

I am looking a preschools for my child and wasn't really impressed with their academic program. Not sure if you are looking at that as a factor. In my opinion they don't challenge the kids very much. My daughter already knows everything that they are teaching the kids in the 4 year old class and she is only 3. I liked the classroom setup and the director was very nice though.
