Yeah, I was the one that drove (in my pj's) to see what it was. You can't get back close to it though, but you can make an appointment to see it.

What, are they afraid someone will illegally attempt to clean the water? I wonder how many appointments they get. Perhaps if they hyped the whole "water treatment or alien landing zone" thing that could become a cool tourist attraction.

Looks like the author (Notluf) didn't have much fun here, since they made that thread, posted 4 times, and never returned.

This post following Catt's visit is still pretty funny...

The hard part was saying..well my friends..okay well..internet people I talk with..friends..uh.. from this forum...well..see..somebody posted a link to this google map thingy...so..uh...well...what is that triangle thing...so since I lived so close, I decided to check it out.

Funny..he looked at me, straight-faced, and said "Oh that, it's a UFO landing site." Then we both cracked up.
