Recently tried to change my Internet Search to google and got some stupid webpage, i.e. Apache/ cPanel. This thing will not let me get to google and tells me to email a webmaster@domain. Of course I tried to email this stupid thing and it is no longer there. Anyone have this happen? And what can I do to get it off my computer.

did you do it by going to tools->internet options-> then typing in Google in the homepage fillable box?
Yep, and it still comes up to this stupid webpage. I type in Google. When I just type in google it gives me an internet error page.

"If you can see this page, then the people who manage this server have installed cPanel and WebHost Manager (WHM) which use the Apache Web server software and the Apache Interface to OpenSSL (mod_ssl) successfully. They now have to add content to this directory and replace this placeholder page, or else point the server at their real content."

That's what it looks like too, but I can use yahoo just fine. Only affects Google.

open up tools | Internet Options | Connections Tab

LAN settings at the bottom clear and Proxy settings click OK 2 times close out your browser reopen
