Black conservatives who supported President Bush (news - web sites) in 2004 and gained new prominence within the Republican Party are launching a loosely knit movement that they hope will transform the role African Americans play in national politics.

The effort will be visible today at the Crenshaw Christian Center, one of Los Angeles' biggest black churches, headed by televangelist Frederick K.C. Price. More than 100 African American ministers are to gather in the first of several regional summits to build support for banning same-sex marriage — a signature issue that drew socially conservative blacks to the Republican column last year.

Dobson sat next to Jesse Jackson at the 2001 inaugural and apparently probed Jackson on the abortion issue (He used to be against it),,,Jesse cut him off with an abrupt: I don't wish to discuss this matter.

So the question that should be prominent: Why have African Americans sunk to the 2nd highest minority behind Hispanics? What if Black churches & leaders decided to care for unwed mothers and open orphanages & young mother's help groups....then the African-American community would have had 5-10 million more members today.
But no...inconvenience, dressing like a ho, and lack of paternal involvement has left the Black community scarred with millions of dead children.

A touch of history: from 1868-1920's...the African-American voters strongly supported Republicans for their efforts in the Civil War and for the 13-15th amendments. Perhaps some will realize that the Democrat gravy train actually has decieved them, caused dependency and allowed them to murder their children. Come back to the Republicans...the door is open.
