If the price has been $24 since 1983, $70 today isn't outrageous.

Additional revenue is intended to support the state’s Waterway Improvement Fund. That program will now offer fully funded projects up to $500,000.

These fees are infuriating and are a wasteful and dumb way to increase revenue.

Be honest with it, why do we need the increase in revenue? Where is a MD DOGE?

My car top boat use to be free. Now $70. I still keep it registered in Maryland because up until last year, it was gratis. I might have to switch that up.

My 14 foot jon boat was $70 for 2 years, the trailer was $91 for two years and the trucks in the driveway cost me $660 for two years total.

I think the state wants us to give up and not want to own anything.:mad:

Or wants us to move away.
Is Maryland politics making you move? If you are considering it, you are not alone, as the most recent Comptroller’s Housing Report confirmed that 2.3 million Marylanders have already left the state. Like most things, Annapolis wants to treat the symptoms rather than treating the disease.
