Listen to the interview.

“We understand what a crisis this is and how important this all is to the town and the region and we are on top of it,” said Governor Hogan. “Every single resource of state government is available to the town of Luke, the county, surrounding counties, and our next door neighbors in West Virginia and we hope to have a real success story out of it in the end.”

The job fair will be held on Tuesday, May 14 at the Bruce Outreach Center in Westernport, Md. There are already more than 55 companies signed up to participate.

Multiple Maryland state agencies continue communicating with local officials and are working to provide needed support and resources. There will also be various social services available at the job fair, including help with financial planning and resume building.
