ANNAPOLIS, MD—Governor Larry Hogan today issued the following statement regarding the appointment of former U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland Rob Hur as special counsel:
“Former Maryland US Attorney Rob Hur is a prosecutor of the highest caliber and integrity. I have faith in his ability to get the facts and hold power to account. In this country, no one is above the law.”
NOTE: Last year, Governor Hogan named former U.S. Attorney Hur to serve as chair of the Asian American Hate Crimes Workgroup.
