so last weekend, our fine, fine Governor wanted to do place a gentleman's bet over the chiefs/ravens game. So, he placed a call to the Governor of KANSAS to make a wager, because, you know, the KC Chiefs are in KANSAS, right?????
No, Missouri....

OOOOOPS!!! boo-boo...lets laugh it off.....

That's hilarious :roflmao:

Aren't there any smart Democrats who are aware of the world outside their own bubble? I mean, there has to be and yet..... 🤔 This guy has freaking aides and handlers and any number of people around him. How does a stupid mistake like this happen?

And the prog newsbots are all, "Okay, Kansas...we'll go with that..." Gov. Laura Kelly - also a Democrat - took the bet without correcting him.

Did Moore just not want to camaraderie with Republican Mike Parson?

Are they pretending the Chiefs are based in KS because they know their cultbots don't know any better? And in typical Democrat fashion, the lie becomes the truth and now *everybody knows* that Arrowhead stadium is in KS?

Inquiring minds want to know.... these people live in such an alternate reality.

I believe all his aides and handlers are hand-me-downs from that Kamila Harris woman.

He bet a crab pie against a decent steak.
To be honest neither governor will have to purchase either, a business will donate the winnings.
To be honest Kansas City is right on a State Line like St. Louis, so making a big deal out of which Governor he made the bet with is kind of silly.
Pretty sure suckers who pay too much to see the game are from both sides of the border.

To be even MORE honest...Kansas City is in MISSOURI...
So making a big deal out of our Governor showing himself to be a friggin idiot ISN'T silly...

But maybe you're fine with an absolute idiot being in charge of Maryland...how's that working out for you, so far?
For me, with my increased property taxes, increased gas tax, Lord only know what's next Tax...and every other act of buffoonery by this MENSA candidate...not so good

St. Louis is in MO, not KS. State lines matter and the stadium where the Chiefs call home is also in MO. So it's not silly at all. It's like saying Omaha is in Iowa because it's right on the state line - it's not, it's in Nebraska.

Dipshit thought Kansas City was in Kansas because it says so in the city name and he doesn't know any better, nor does he have a staff worth a damn who'll check these things before they make asses of themselves.

Now, there *is* a Kansas City KS, but it's pretty small and when people refer to Kansas City they are invariably talking about the big one in MO. Unless they're a Democrat, in which case they have no idea where it is and just take a guess.

Carter Lake, IA is in Omaha. It used to be cutoff by a horseshoe bend in the Missouri River.
The river shifted, and what's left of the bend is a lake about halfway around the town.

Must have been the same crew that put up the MD upside down in Largo when Biden showed up.

Kansas City is on the State line of Kansas and Missouri just as St' Louis is on the state line of Missouri and Illinois.

Citizens pass between the two every day and geography binds the two..
Just as the Commanders ( I hate that freaking name >) Are called the Washington commanders and play in Maryland.
They were called the Washington redskins and they played in Maryland.
We can get picky and say Moore was wrong, but he wasn't wrong enough to make a big deal out of it IMO

The Governor of Kansas city Kansas is going to the game and she and the Governor of Missouri will probably be in the same plush box upstairs where the heat is on and the Champagne and Hors d'Oeuvres are being served. I agree Moore is a dick but it's his bet and no matter who wins some restaurant will be supplying the bet as a donation ------not costing either Governor a dime.

Unlike national borders, which, apparently, do not.
