Besides being chunky she was also a little stinky. After two baths she's now camped out on the couch.

Awww, she's beautiful! I picked up some doggy perfume when I was at petsmart ... I spray it on the dogs in between groomings so they smell all sexy and stuff. :yay:

12 Year old Beagle - Urgent

URGENT SITUATION
At 12 years old Ginger finds herself in need of a new home. Her human family is divorcing and one doesn't want her and the other had to move some place that won't allow pets.

Ginger needs a home without any small children, she has never been around them and at her age she would just as soon have a nice quiet home to enjoy what years she has left.

Ginger is spayed and current on her shots and gets along with other dogs. She's never been around cats so that probably isn't a good idea in her new home either.

There is no adoption fee for Ginger but an approved application will be required. Please contact us as soon as possible if your heart is big enough to include Ginger.

How is she doing now that she has had a few days in her new digs?

She pretty much slept the first two days and helped keep the floor next to the woodstove warm. Yesterday, she had a piece of deer baloney and sprung to life giving kisses and wanting her share of attention (and more treats). She's going to be just fine.

I hope somebody steps up for Ginger's sake. We have cats so it wouldn't work with us.

Unfortunately, we'll be saying goodbye to Granny this evening. She's been a great girl to have around but her health has really deteriorated in the last few weeks. It's only been two years, but for her sake we have to do it.
She'll join the others in the garden later tonight.

The best 2 years any dog could ever ask for I'm sure. My thoughts are with you.
