Hello
Can anyone help ? I am thinking of growing grapes in my front yard . I have the post and everything else needed but grapevines.
Does anyone know where i can purchase and if possible, price.
We are on a fixed retirement income nd hence have to start out small.
TIA !
Thank you for the info. Will try to keep all predators (two legged, four legged and winged...lol, away !)We've had ours for about 12 years so I don't remember. Check the local nurseries. Last year we finally had a good sized crop except the birds, squirrels, and a high wind took them away just before they ripened.
Many thanks ! Will do as you suggest. Have a great day !Two weekends ago, they had some at Southern States in Charlotte Hall. You may want to call first before making the trek all the way up there to be sure they still have some

We wound up with Mars grapes from Wentworth's Nursery. The descriptive tag says they are large, sweet and their skins slip off easily.
Since we're not really into making wine, was this a good choice? Does anyone know? Are these easy to grow?
Thank you, ma'am. I must be driving the neighbors bats...lol...they see me outside all the time babying my vines.Mars are basically improved seedless Concord grapes and are definitely not wine grapes. Easy to grow and delicious eating:
