Help!!
Is there a way to enter the population of a sampling distribution into the TI-83 and pull the means, variances, etc, for each sample?
For example:
A population consists of the numbers 11, 28, 46 and 63. Pull two samples (n=2) and compare the mean and probability of each possible combination.
Right now I'm doing it by hand: (11,11) (11,28) (11,46) (11,63) (28,11) (28,28) etc etc for all 16 sets and finding the mean, probability, and variance for each one. But it seems to me that something as smart as my TI, there should be a function where I can plug in each number in the population and it will do all the grunt work for me. Or no?
Google didn't come up with anything, and it's possible I wasn't entering the correct search terms.
