Great Day of Fishing

Had a great day along the Patuxent today using ultra lights.
Lots of small rockfish and some nice size perch too.
Caught this guy on the last cast.

Side note...the friggin ticks were plentiful too.

I never understood what causes the tick problem to be bad. Harsh/mild winter, dry/wet spring, etc. All I know is those little critters are nothing to ignore. Always do a tick check; sometimes it takes SO's to examine each other, which is not so bad!

Another good day on the river.
Wife landed this and a few more like it. Perch were hitting really well too.
