Lets see. Theres the Millenium one, in Millison plaza, the one behind the tire joint, the cut Rate one next to Roses, then you get none until Canopy, then the one in St Marys Square, then International (My personal fave, if you like good beer, those guys rock) then Mckays, then the one across from the Philipinno restaraunt.

So, thats what, 8 liquor stores in the 3.5 miles. 5250 or so feet in a mile, thers only one every 2,200 feet or so.:)

I agree that there shold be some vehicle for doing something about those gas stations. Just keeping the vegtation under control would be a start.
Yeah, those things need to come down or something. Especially the one closer to GMHS, that thing has been shut down for a long time.

you forgot the one on Willows Road next to the travel agency and the one that opened behind Pa Pa Johns. How's that affect your average? :D
Plus I think there are a few more past St. Mary's Square.

the one behind the tire joint is the one on Willows, so I had that one. I had forgotten that one behind Poppa Johns, the one that took over the shoe repair shop. Past St Marys Square, there was one in with Trick Trucks and Street Trenz, but I think thats the same one that is now located next to Rosies, they just moved.

So, Add one, thats 15,000 feet divided by 9, about 1650ish feet between them. Still a few too many, I wonder why. Does the liquor board not want the hobos to travel to far, maybe spend more time in traffic?

Maybe it's a law enforcement technique:
1. it cuts down on drunk driving since you will have one within easy walking distance
2. it puts all the drunks out on one road, just drive down the road and pick them up.

You just included all of the Military Housing in Glen Forest plus the new Library and the new Elementary School. As someone else mentioned - what you have seen is not always all there is. I live, work and worship in Lexington Park and have never had a moment of trouble. BTW you might be surprised and there are Section 8's where you live. It's not just rundown houses that get Section 8's all of the time.

I didn't post anything about section 8's and it's part of life for people to need help at times, don't lash out so much and yea I included the new library area and school.............It's a S hole in my opinion.
