Great Mills Road needs more lighting

I had to drive down Rt 246 (Great Mills Road) at night the other evening. I try not to use Great Mills Road if possible. There are too many areas on Great Mills Road that has no lighting at all. Or, it has orange color street lights that are so old, they barely put out any light at all. Then, you have people wearing all dark clothing cross the road anywhere they please with impunity. I am surprised that people are not hit more often along this road. Once upon a time the police had a campaign to reduce the illegal crossing and encourged the use of cross walks. I think it did some good. But, the postive impact was only temporary. The STS bus constantly stops in the travel portion of the State roadway; even though the vehicle law states it is illegal to stop in a travel portion of the road to off load or load passengers. Years ago, the State Police used to enforce this law. Not any more. The STS bus could pull off of the road at varous locations. It doesn't From time to time it is hit in the rear, regardless to the strobe light.

School busses do this every day along the main roads and state highways (235)

Where can STS off load that is not a travel lane? People use that right turn lane on 235 as a travel lane.
