MVA w/ pedestrian
This happens more times than I care to count on Great Mills Road. It happens a few other areas in the County as well. Not enough lights on the road and the people that cross it typically wear dark clothes, while crossing with a sense of "entitlement" that traffic will automatically see them just because they are in the road. This process of course leads to a deadly combination.
Believe someone was flown out
Nope, sadly the helo was cancelled, priority 4.
I think you heard another call. There was a CPR in Progress on New Market Turner Rd shortly after this call went out. That patient was a priority 4. This patient was flown to PG Shock Trauma Category B, Priority 1
Just got word he was a friend of mine. Very sad to lose such a great man. Rest in peace my friend and Semper Fi.
Thanks for the update G. What is category "B"? I ran in Calvert, and we didn't have Categories, just Priorities.I think you heard another call. Does anybody know what happened on Route 4 yesterday around Indian Bridge Road around 5pmish? We saw two motorcycles and one was smushed to pieces. I've been hoping that everybody was okay.

Categories have been used for a little bit in conjuction with SYSCOM and hospitals to categorize a patients injuries, and determine the need for aeromedical transport. Check out this link for more info on the categories.
As for Indian Bridge Rd, a motorcyclist wrecked. He was taken to SMH priority 2.
