For the newbies who don't know, my daughter has a rare kidney disease called Renal Tubular Acidosis, along with many other health related problems that they can't figure out. Still only 27lbs. and she'll be 4 in January. Anyway, she has spent alot of time at Children's. She recieved a blanket from Project Linus and absolutely loves it!!! They are so great and make beautiful blankets for sick children. Celie adores hers! If you plan on going to lunch or dinner on Tuesday why not do something for a great cause at the same time?

recently did a service project day at St. Mary's Ryken. one of the projects we worked on was making blankets for project linus. It's great to here that the blankets go to kids who really appreciate it. Really makes it worth while to know the effort is appreciated.

There's a little girl at church with CHARGE syndrome and she got one as well. It's gorgeous!
Recently we took the kids to Tri County Youth Services for their Fall Festival and my older daughter won a blanket in their raffle. I was surprised to see it was a Project Linus Blanket also. She was so happy!
When I volunteered at Angel's watch in Hughesville they had alot of them there also. Many of the kids there come with the clothes on their backs. They all get a blanket as well! To see the kids with something hand made and all their own is awesome. They really treasure them.
