I am so excited!! I had some great pictures of my two kiddies done at the Portrait Innovations in Waldorf this morning. I have not been able to get professional pictures of them in forever because my son had been very uncooperative in the past. But not today!!:yahoo:

I love Portrait Innovations!! I tried them out when they first opened with the intent of just buying the $10 package - and my daughter was uncooperative! The guy taking the pictures spent over an hour with her so she'd be comfortable with him and I got some great shots!! I spent over $200 on my way out. . . and with an appointment to go back a month later for Christmas pics for me and my sisters kids.

Highly recommend them!

I told hubby after the pictures were finished (as I was picking out what I wanted) that it would probably be in his best interest to just go sit in the car with the kids because it was going to at least be $100. He started clutching his chest as he was walking out...such a :drama:

Some things - and this is one of them - it's better for me to just tell hubby AFTER the fact! Kinda, "Here, hon, had B's pictures done today - look!"

I spent a little over $200 as well but I had lots of pictures & we both have large families....no need to copy these at home. It was well worth the money spent...need to make appointment for Christmas!

How do they match up with The Picture People with price? I looked at the website and didn't find a price list. They look like they have a lot more options, and the final portraits on the website looked really good. Thanks!

I paid more at the Picture People about 4 years ago for less pictures. Kyle at Portrait Innovations was great & spent much more time with my son than my experience at Picture People.

I agree. I expected to pay about $150 at PI but I have been in the past (my mom had the whole family done there before my son was even born) and you get SO many pictures. Plus they give you bonus pictures free depending on how much you order. I ended up getting three bonus ones and they are 10x13s too. AND you get a cd of every picture in your session which to me is HUGE.

I have only been to the Picture People once and felt like I wasted my money. I mean they were good pics but no where near as much for my money as PI.

That being said I also LOVED Target Portrait studio in California. They always have a great inexpensive package (check online for coupons) if you plan on having several professional pictures done. For my kids I had professional pics done every month for months 1-12 but I had them done at Target. I got great pose and a package with lots of pictures.

Now that they are older I only plan on getting professional pics done once a year so it will be PI for me.
