Great trips for kids

Hey, thinking about planning a little 4 day weekend get away this summer for us and the kids. (ages 5 and 7). I've been debating the whole Williamsburg/Jamestown trip and the Hershey Park trip. Any other ideas? Or which one of those two do you think the kids would enjoy more?

I've done long weekends at both attractions... for their current ages I definately vote for Hershey Park. There are more age appropriate rides and they are the perfect age to do the free "Chocolate World" tour which is just outside of the park. There is also a genuine "old time" train that runs in the area... you could get tickets in advance and plan a day around that. My kids are also still talking about the "Indian Echo Caverns". It's not as big as Luray, but still very unique and interesting. My kids were the age your kids are now and they still remember the stories of the cavern.

I'm with Kwillia. And I would tend to think the Hershey area would be less crowded compared to Williamsburg:yay: That's always a super plus to me:lol:

We stayed in Hummelstown which was central to the places we wanted to visit.

Camily, I don't know what you are talking about.

I've been wanting to take Celie to Sesame Place. Has anyone been there lately and would older kids (10 and 8) have fun there too?
